THE IMPORTANCE OF INDUSTRIAL CLEANING
"Cleaning" is a kind of civilized labor. From the evolution of ancient human beings to the life and production practice of modern people, the unconscious or unconscious labor of "cleaning" has always accompanied the development of human beings. With the progress of the society, the development of productivity and the enhancement of human civilization consciousness, the development of "cleaning labor" has been a practical technology which involves a wide range and rich content. In addition to people from the health, hygiene, civilization, living environment aspects of civilian cleaning technology is constantly improving, the development of cleaning methods and technology in industrial production is more colorful. This book only from the "Ultrasonic Cleaning" in industrial Cleaning to expand, explain some concepts and significance of industrial cleaning.
CONCEPT OF INDUSTRIAL CLEANING
In the manufacturing process of industrial products, in the assembly process of products, in the storage, transportation and use of industrial equipment, in the continuous operation of the industrial system, there will always be a variety of liquid, solid pollutants adhesion or coverage. The so-called industrial cleaning is the process of cleaning the surface layer (or the surface layer of the internal cavity) of the industrial parts, components, products and system equipment that should not have pollutants through a variety of physical, chemical and biological methods, and cleaning as new as possible to restore to the initial good condition.
Generally speaking, to clean an industrial product, the cleaning system should include four elements: industrial products or parts (cleaning objects), adhered pollutants, cleaning media and cleaning ability. The whole cleaning process can be expressed by a simple formula:
industrial products (or parts)* pollutant (cleaning ability)/(cleaning media) → industrial products+ pollutant
Here the industrial product refers to the parts in the manufacture, assembled part; Pollutants refer to oils, solid particles, etc. Cleaning ability refers to ultrasonic force, chemical molecular force and other mechanical force, etc. Cleaning medium refers to water - based, activator, organic solvent, etc.
SIGNIFICANCE OF INDUSTRIAL CLEANING
With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of productivity, more and more people realize that industrial cleaning is an indispensable important process in the production process. The significance of industrial cleaning lies in:
(1) It is conducive to improving the quality and performance of products
Industrial cleaning is conducive to improve the quality and performance of products. Remove the dirt on the surface of raw materials, and ensure the machining precision and size of parts in manufacturing; In the assembly of components, the quality of products can be improved. For example, in the assembly of cameras and photocopiers, it is conducive to the matching of axle holes and the meshing of gears. For some products, cleaning is to meet the needs of the next process, such as the pretreatment of electroplating, the pretreatment of spraying, the pretreatment of vacuum coating, the pretreatment of metal rust passivation and so on
(2) It is conducive to extending the service life of industrial installations and equipment
Cleaning is conducive to prolong the service life of industry units and equipment and to equipment maintenance. For example, In the maintenance of the equipment in the power-generation plant and chemical plant, through ultrasonic cleaning, it can quickly restore the sensitivity and reliability of a variety of control valve core and regulator. For another example, it can greatly improve the assembly quality, reduce wear and prolong the service life by cleaning the cylinder, piston ring, fuel injector and various sports bearings, etc. of the cars and diesel engines.
(3) It is conducive to low-carbon economy and safe production
Industrial cleaning is conducive to low carbon economy and safe production. For example, all kinds of pipeline installations in power-generation plant, because of scaling, resulting in the reduction of pipeline flow area, increased circulation resistance, lead to the increase of energy consumption and material consumption. For another example, in a chemical plant, all kinds of pneumatic control system, hydraulic valve core and regulator nozzle, these all will be blocked because of dirt, resulting in control failure, in the continuous operation of the pipeline or reactor pressure increases, may cause explosion and other production safety accidents. Industrial cleaning and descaling can restore the production efficiency of the equipment.
Therefore, industrial cleaning is an indispensable important process in the production process, the contribution of industrial cleaning to industrial production is beyond doubt.
